Who we are

Tanzey Health Inc. is a consumer health and wellness technology company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada (BC1594532) and based in Kelowna, British Columbia. In this policy, Tanzey, we, and us mean Tanzey Health Inc.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the information we collect through this website. It does not cover the Tanzey mobile application or any connected device, which are not yet publicly available. When those launch they will have their own privacy policy describing how health and biometric data is handled, and we will publish it before anyone can sign up.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you give us and the date and time you submitted it. Alongside it we record the exact consent wording shown to you at that moment, together with your IP address and browser identifier, so that we can demonstrate when and to what you consented if we are ever asked. That is the only personal information the waitlist form asks you for. We do not ask for your name or any payment details.

The biological age estimate. If you choose to use the estimate tool, we also collect the answers you give it. These cover your age, height, waist measurement and lifestyle habits such as sleep, activity, diet, alcohol and smoking, and we store them with your email address so we can show you how your result changes over time. This is health related information and we treat it as sensitive. You give it voluntarily, one question at a time, and you can stop at any point before the final step without anything being saved. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we never send it to advertising or marketing measurement tools. You can ask us to delete it at any time using the contact address below.

Like most websites, we also receive limited technical information automatically, such as your browser type, device type, approximate region, and the pages you view. We may use analytics and advertising measurement tools, including the Meta pixel, to understand how people find this site and to measure our marketing. These tools may set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest based advertising through the settings offered by the relevant platform.

How we use it

We use your email address to tell you when Tanzey opens, to invite you to our pilot programme if you are a fit, and to send occasional updates about our progress. We use the technical information to keep the site working and to understand which of our efforts bring people here.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

Consent and unsubscribing

By joining the waitlist you consent to receiving commercial electronic messages from us about Tanzey, as contemplated by Canada's Anti Spam Legislation. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribe requests promptly. You can also withdraw consent at any time by emailing us at the address below.

Where your information is held

We use reputable third party service providers to host this site and store waitlist signups. Some of them operate servers outside Canada, which means your information may be stored in or accessed from another country and may be subject to the laws of that country. We only use providers that commit to appropriate security standards.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist emails until you ask us to remove yours, or until we no longer have a reason to keep it, whichever comes first.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority in their province or territory.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the company and the product develop. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
